Meet the Doctor: Kathryn Beckman, OD
Member of the AOA and TAOP (Tennesses Association of Optometric Physicians)
Dr. Kathryn Beckman, O.D. is a 1995 graduate from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. Upon graduation, she moved to Lodi, California and started a new private practice.
Two years later, Dr. Beckman formed a partnership with two refractive surgeons to start a refractive surgery center. She noticed that the surgical outcomes were optimal when patients did not have dry eyes or had mild dry eyes that was treated prior to surgery. As a result, and in order to improve the quality of care at the refractive surgery center, Dr. Beckman began her journey into seeking ways to improve the ocular surface for her patients.
Throughout her career, she has experience in starting multiple practices, including a dry eye clinic, as well as consulting with colleagues who would like to begin their journey in dry eye treatment. Over the years, and after successfully treating thousands of patients with severe dry eye disease, Dr. Beckman has a deep sense of compassion and purpose in making a positive impact on those who suffer from this chronic condition.
Dr. Beckman is embarking on this new professional journey alongside her supportive and encouraging fiance. Outside of the clinic, she cherishes time spent with her two adult daughters and son-in-law, and two beloved dogs. Dr. Beckman enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, playing pickleball, golfing, flying, cooking, and traveling. Her commitment to family and community drives her mission to provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for every patient who walks through her door.

Kendra Stewart
Special Procedures Lead Technician
Kendra Stewart is the Lead Special Procedures Technician at our Clinic where she oversees Specialized Care and Procedures. She has technical experience at varying levels of Optometric and Ophthalmic Care, but most recently focused on treating Dry Eye Patients, Refractive Surgery Patients, and Coordinating Surgery.
Kendra is thrilled to combine her technical precision and genuine passion for patient advocacy, and believes that high-quality care begins with a compassionate approach. Outside the clinic you can find Kendra adventuring outdoors with her children or catching up on her favorite TV shows with her cat "Spooki".

Marni Hudson
Patient Success Coordinator
Marni is the Patient Success Coordinator and enjoys connecting with patients throughout their time in the office. She relocated to Tennessee with her family from Denver, Colorado in 2020 and has enjoyed building a life in the community. Marni is a proud mom of two boys and can often be found cheering them on at their football games.
Outside of the office, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, skiing, and regular exercise, along with time spent with a good book or friends. She is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to working with patients and their families.
